Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-02

1. The service

Signatta ("we", provided by Signatta Technologies Lda, Rua Zeca Afonso 14, 3.º, fração A, Santa Iria de Azoia, 2690-395 Loures, Lisboa, Portugal) offers simple and advanced electronic signature envelopes with tamper-evident evidence packs, billed per organization on subscription plans.

We are not a qualified trust service provider. Nothing in the service constitutes a qualified electronic signature, a notarial act, or legal advice.

2. Acceptable use

You must have the right to upload and sign what you send, provide accurate signer contact details, and respect the law. No illegal content, no impersonation, no probing or abusing the service, no reselling access except through the public API under its terms.

3. Plans, trials, payment

Trials: 14 days and 10 envelopes, no card. Paid plans bill monthly in advance via Stripe; overages are metered to plan caps, then sending pauses until upgrade or renewal. Prices exclude VAT unless stated. Failed renewals get dunning emails before suspension; suspension blocks sending, never evidence reads.

Refunds are handled case by case; invoices are never deleted — a refund is recorded against the invoice, not instead of it.

4. Availability and support

We target high availability but give no uptime warranty on self-serve plans. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. Support responds on business days; scale plans include defined response times.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for willful misconduct, or rights consumers hold under mandatory law. You remain responsible for choosing the right signature level for each document.

6. Termination

Either side may terminate with effect at period end; we may suspend for abuse, non-payment after dunning, or legal orders. Evidence and signed documents remain available through their statutory retention even after cancellation.

7. Consumer withdrawal right

Signatta is a continuously provided digital service, so consumers buying at a distance have a 14-day right of withdrawal without giving reasons. To exercise it, email us before the period ends; we confirm and refund the unused portion. If you ask performance to begin immediately (e.g. sending envelopes on day one) and expressly acknowledge losing the right once the service is fully performed, the exception applies — otherwise you only ever pay pro-rata for what was actually supplied, and the 14-day trial itself is always free.

8. Changes and contact

Material changes are announced at least 14 days in advance in-app. Questions: info@chegatta.com. Governing law: Portugal; disputes go to the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer fora.
